Police have determined there was no crime committed and public safety was not in jeopardy in connection with a recent discharge of firearms near a soccer field here.
On June 4 at about 6:56pm Wellington County OPP received a call regarding multiple gunshots heard from the Puslinch Community Centre soccer fields located on Brock Road.
Police located three males target shooting at a nearby farm.
“Wellington County OPP along with the Chief Firearms Office conducted an investigation in to the incident,” police stated in a June 11 press release.
“No criminal offence took place and the safety of the public was not in jeopardy.”
